Where should I download Trezor Suite?
Download Trezor Suite directly from trezor.io/trezor-suite. Always check the URL carefully and avoid links from unexpected messages or advertisements.
What is a recovery seed?
It’s a set of words that can restore access to your wallet if your device is lost or damaged. Write it down on the supplied backup card and store it somewhere private and secure, offline. Anyone who sees it may be able to access your crypto.
Can Trezor Support ask for my recovery seed?
No. Never share your recovery seed with anyone, including someone claiming to be from Trezor Support. Trezor staff will never ask for it. Only enter it on your Trezor device when the device itself instructs you to.
What if my device looks used or arrives damaged?
Stop setup and contact Trezor Support through the official website. Buy devices only from Trezor or an authorized reseller, and follow the authenticity checks in the official setup guide.
Do I need to transfer crypto during setup?
No. You can finish setting up your device and learn how it works before transferring any assets. When you are ready, carefully verify recipient addresses and transaction details on your Trezor screen.
